The article is referring to the publication of an undated document respectively elaboration written down on November in the year 1944 in the headquarters of Treeck's battle squad. It had its name alter its commanding — officer Lieutenant colonel dr. Egon von Treeck. From the middle of the year 1944 on, the Treeck's battle squad acted an important part in the fight with units of the Slovene National Liberation Army within its 4th operational zone. In the introduction the author shows the importance of that occupier's document and the part played of, the Treeck's battle squad and its commanding—officer in the fight in Styria, respectively the 4th operational zone. In his comments the autor is criticizing — on the basis of other sources and literature of partisan and occupier's origin — the particulars and analyses of the National Liberation War the elaboration contains. At the same time he calls one's attention to the incorrect particulars in the elaboration.
