The author describes and compares specific examination objectives, contents, types of questions, assessment of cognitive processes and questions, exam prerequisites and instructions for sitting external examinations in Slovenia, France, Great Britain, and in international schools. Based on different criteria she analyzes the level of their difficulty and suggests certain didactic and methodic improvements for external examination on history in Slovenia.

      • Avtorica predstavlja in primerja specifične izpitne cilje, izpitno vsebino, tipe nalog, ocenjevanje miselnih procesov in nalog, pogoje za izvedbo izpitov in navodila za reševanje zunanjih srednješolskih izpitov v Sloveniji, Franciji, Veliki Britaniji in mednarodnih šolah. Na podlagi meril ugotavlja tudi zahtevnost srednješolskih izpitov in predlaga nekatere didaktično – metodične izboljšave za slovensko maturo iz predmeta zgodovine.
