The purpose of the archives is to demonstrate the importance of cultural institutions through various archival sources. The visit to the Historical Archives Ljubljana, Unit for Dolenjska and Bela krajina Novo mesto includes a projection of one of the three original movies demonstrating what archives are, how they work and what we can find in them. The students become detectives with worksheets. Through image and word, we try to promote among young students the work of a cultural institution, which is often forgotten but nevertheless important: collecting, editing, protecting and enabling the use of written, drawn, printed, photographed, filmed and otherwise written documents.
