Description

The author analyses the early occurrence ol modern skiing on Slovene territory that is linked to the Trnovska planota at the beginning of the nineties of the 19th century. The author tries to reconstruct the order of the first Norwegian skis; he also deals with presumably the first skiing competition on Slovene territory, with the spreading of skiing from the plateau, and with some other issues. Because of the hypothetical date ol the first order of skis we cannot confirm that the Trnovska planota skiing wasactually the first example of modern (not old-Iashioned-folk type, proved for Bloke to have existedalready in the 17h century) skiing on Slovene territory.

      • Avtor analizira zgodnji pojav modernega smučanja na Slovenskem, ki je vezano na Trnovsko planotov začetku devetdesetih let 19. stoletja. Ob poskusu rekonstrukcije naročila prvih norveških smuči se ukvarja še z domnevno prvim smučarskim tekmovanjev na Slovenskem, s širjenjem smučanja iz planotein še z nekaterimi drugimi vprašanji. Zaradi hipotetične datacije naročila prvih smuči ne moremo potrditi, da je šlo pri smučanju na Trnovski planoti dejansko za prvi primer modernega (ne starosvetno -ljudskega na Blokah dokazanega že v 17 stoletju) smučarstva na Slovenskem.
