Opis

Avtorica bo v prispevku opozorila na specifično situacijo gradiva, ki je povezano z zdravstvom (oz. zdravjem) v Nadškofijskem arhivu v Ljubljani. Poseben fond, ki bi bil namenjen temu področju, se ni oblikoval, drobce s to tematiko pa je mogoče zaslediti v skoraj vseh fondih NŠAL. Smiselno se zato zdi opozoriti predvsem na tiste pomembnejše, ki kljub temu da ne gre za sistematično oblikovan in urejen fond, vendar prispevajo k našemu vedenju o obravnavanem področju.

      • You will not be able to find a fond where only documents related to health care are kept and organised in Archdiocesan Archives Ljubljana, however, by no means does this mean that such material is not to be found in the archive. On the contrary, it is possible to find a lot of information related to health care, however, documents are fragmented, thus pieces of information can be found in different fonds and collections. At this point, we wished to draw attention to these fragments which can be discovered in almost every fond. Fonds which testify to the field of health care the most are highlighted: death registers, various calls regarding epidemics in the Diocesan Archives in Ljubljana (ŠAL 2), some manuscript material, an example of a certificate etc. This article encourages researchers to further explore archival records in Archdiocesan Archives Ljubljana which could complement the existing knowledge of organization of health and health care institutions (hospitals), medical problems, diseases, social services and social issues, and the role of Christian Church in these matters.
