Description
The Council Resolution of 6th May 2003 on the member states archives is the most important
document concerning the cooperation between archives in Europe in the last ten years. On the basis
of this document, the project of updating the publication called "The Black Book" was initiated. The
Black Book gives an overview of the archive situation in the European Union and provides incentives
for further cooperation. It was first published in 1994 by the European Commission, under the title
"Archives in the European Union, Report by a group ofexperts on the cooperation ofarchives".

- Resolucija Sveta EU z dne 6. maja 2003 o arhivih držav članic je najpomembnejši dokument v zadnjih desetih letih na področju sodelovanja arhivov v Evropski uniji. Na podlagi tega dokumenta se je začel projekt izdaje nove verzije publikacije, imenovane Črna knjiga ("Black book"), ki bo dala pregled stanja arhivov v Evropski uniji in usmeritve za nadaljnje sodelovanje. Prva izdaja publikacije Črne knjige (z naslovom "Arhivi v Evropski uniji. Poročilo skupine strokovnjakov o sodelovanju arhivov") je izšla v letu 1994 pod pokrovitelj'stvom Evropske komisije.
