Description
The author recalls his work in the archival profession. His first important working experience with
the archives was already in 1945 when he worked as an assistant to the city archivist in Ljubljana. He
became even more involved in the archives activities in the 1950's when he was preparing a doctoral
dissertation on the provincial and state elections in Slovenia, covering the period between 1861 and
1918. He was also active in the archival profession through his participation in the Archival
Association of Slovenia.

- Avtor v prispevku obuja spomine na sodelovanje z arhivsko stroko. Z arhivi se je tesneje srečal že leta 1945 kot pomočnik mestnega arhivarja v Ljubljani. Še bolj intenziven stik z arhivi je imel v petdesetih letih ob pripravi doktorske disertacije o deželnih in državnih volitvah na Slovenskem v letih 1861-1918. Z arhivsko stroko pa je sodeloval tudi preko delovanja v Arhivskem društvu Slovenije.
