This paper gives a systematic and detailed overview of the operation of the Archival Association of Slovenia in the last decade. The author summarises the provisions of the Association's statute and briefly describes the work of the Association's bodies. The description of the archival deliberations (three) and conventions (six) goes into great detail, stating the contents of the papers and summary of their conclusions. The author also describes flourishing publishing activity, international cooperation (attendance at congresses, symposiums and conventions abroad), various forms of popularisation of archival work, and the first conferring of the Aškerc award. The paper concludes with a list of members of the Association's committees and editorial offices (1994—2004), which also includes the current list ofmembers of the Archival Association of Slovenia.
