Description
Slovenes got our own Supreme Court at the time of the formation of Slovene independent state in 1991, the turning point that also marks the beginning of our acquiring a derisive role in the formation of courtpractice. There had been a Supreme Court in the territory of Slovenia even prior to 1991 but only for a brief period of time before World War II and, in a sense, between 1974 and 1991.
