Description
The author deals in his contribution with the development of Bohinj into the first distinctive winter tourist centre on Slovene ground before World War I. The development was conditioned above all by the propitious railway connection of Bohinj after the year 1906, special actions of reduced railway tickets, and successful inclusion of newly introduced winter sports, which enabled the expansion of tourism on the previously dead winter tourist season.

      • Avtor v prispevku obravnava razvoj Bohinja v prvo izstopajoče zimsko turistično središče na Slovenskem pred prvo svetovno vojno. Ta razvoj je bil pogojen predvsem z ugodno železniško povezavo Bohinja po letu 1906, posebnimi akcijami znižanih prevoznih kart in uspešnim vključevanjem novo uveljavljenih zimskih športov, ki so omogočili širitev turizma tudi na poprej mrtvo zimsko turistično sezono.
