Professor dr. Jože Koropec was one of the first students at the department of history of the Faculty of Philosophy in Ljubljana after World War II, who attended lectures in South Slav history with professor dr. Gregor Čremošnik and passed the final graduation examination in national history. They are both, in a certain way, linked to the classical academic secondary school (gymnasium), in Maribor, which they had attended and passed their secondary school finishing examinations there. Gregor Čremošnik passed the examination in 1910. At the 40th anniversary of the final examination 14 school-mates met in Maribor and on that occasion a joint picture is dated. It was this picture from 1950 and Čremošnik's letter, which followed the meeting and which he had sent to his school-mate and friend Ivo Zupanič, which is the subject of the author's contribution.

      • Prof. dr. Jože Koropec je bil eden prvih študentov na oddelku za zgodovino Filozofske fakultete v Ljubljani po drugi svetovni vojni, ki je poslušal predavanja iz južnoslovanske zgodovine pri prof. dr. Gregorju Čremošniku in opravljal diplomski izpit iz narodne zgodovine. Oba na neki način povezuje klasična gimnazija v Mariboru, ki sta jo obiskovala in na njej maturirala. Gregor Čremošnik je maturiral leta 1910. Ob 40-letnici mature se je 14 sošolcev srečalo v Mariboru in ob tej priliki je nastala skupinska slika. Prav ta slika iz leta 1950 in Čremošnikovo pismo, ki je sledilo srečanju in ga je poslal sošolcu in prijatelju Ivu Zupaniču je predmet avtorjeve razprave.
