In this paper, the author considers the estate of Cistercian convents /Viktring/ in Carinthia and Rein by Graz, as well as the Žice chartreuse, as acquired in the city of Maribor and its direct vicinity. He underscores, in particular, the acquistion of the so called free houses (manor houses) in the city, which became administrative, economic and commercial centres for the there residing convent estates.

      • Avtor v prispevku obravnava posest cistercijanskih opatij Vetrinj (Viktring) na Koroškem in Rein pri Gradcu ter žičke kartuzije, pridobljeno v mestu Mariboru in v njegovi neposredni soseščini. Ustavlja se posebej pri pridobivanju t. i. svobodnih hiš (dvorov) v mestu, ki so postale upravna, gospodarska in trgovska središča za tukajšnje samostanske posesti.
