The author considers the significant role of dr. Karel Verstovšek, who was at that times among the leaders of the Slovenian People's Party (SLS) in Styria, in the movement for support to the statement of the Yugoslav Club in the State Parliament inVienna, viz. in the Declaration Movement and at the time when Verstovšek was the president of the National Concil for Styria of 28
September, 1918, established two days earlier.
