Description
The Folk high school in Maribor was during the years 1922 till 1941 when it was abolished by the German civil administration, the best folk high school in Slovenia. It prepared, in less than twenty years, 1200 meetings to which ca 120 000 people attended . As a nonparty and democratic organization it contributed vitaly to the Slovene culture in the town.

      • Ljudska univerza v Mariboru je bila med 1922— 1941, ko jo je odpravila nemška civilna uprava, najboljša med slovenskimi ljudskimi univerzami tistega časa. V slabih dveh desetletjih je pripravila 1200 prireditev, ki jim je prisostvovalo približno 120 000 ljudi. Kot nestrankarska in demokratična organizacija je bistveno prispevala k razvoju slovenske kulture v mestu.
