Description
The author has — on the basis of newspaper material, memoire and historical literature — depicted the characteristics of the five railwaymen's strikes in November and December, 1918 in the Maribor region. These strikes had — in spite of certain socioeconomic elements — at the time of decisive struggles for the northern frontier — a predominantly political character, since German workers endeavoured to support the inclusion of the Maribar region into German Austria.

      • Avtor je na osnovi časopisnega gladiva, memoarske in zgodovinske literature prikazal značilnosti petih železničarskih stavk novembra in decembra 1918 na mariborskem območju, ki so imele kljub nekaterim socialnoekonomskim elementom v času odločilnih bojev za severno slovensko mejo na Štajerskem pretežno politični značaj, saj si je z njimi nemško delavstvo prizadevalo podpreti vključitev mariborskega območja v Nemško Avstrijo.
