Description
The author testifies that the onetime capuchine monastery in Maribor (1613 -1784) had a relatively rich library. In attesting this, he refers to the preserved sources on capuchine libraries of the time in the Styna capuchine province, the need of libraries for preaching and pastoral activities of the Maribor capuchines and to the fact that a private monastery, higher educational institutiton for capuchine priests, had existed for about one hundred years (1684-1784). The list of preserved books represents the material proof of the existence of the library.

      • Avtor dokazuje, da je nekdanji kapucinski samostan v Mariboru (1613 —1704) imel relativno bogato knjižnico. Pri dokazovanju se sklicuje na ohranjene vire o kapucinskih knjižnicah iz tistega časa v takratni Štajerski kapucinski provinci, na nujnost knjižnice zaradi pridigarske in pastoralne dejavnosti mariborskih kapucinov in na dejstvo, da je bilo v mariborskem kapucinskem samostanu okrog sto let (1684—1784) privatna samostanska višja šola za prihodnje kapucinske duhovnike. Kot materialni dokaz za obstoj knjižnice pa prinaša seznam ohranjenih knjig.
