In the introduction the author places the Minorite monastery into a wider frame of the Austrian Monastic Province, where this one also belonged up to the beginning of the 17th century, then, above all on the basis of the archival sources, he traces its economic development during the middle ages and states the material and spiritual condition in the monastery at the time of the reformation, counter-reformation and during all the period up to ist dissolution in the year 1814.

      • Avtor v uvodu postavlja mariborski minoritski samostan v širši okvir Avstrijske redovne province, kamor je le-ta do začetka 17. stol. tudi sodil, nato pa predvsem na podlagi arhivskih virov zasleduje njegov gospodarski razvoj v srednjem veku ter ugotavlja materialno in duhovno stanje v samostanu v času reformacije, protireformacije in v vsem obdobju do njegove ukinitve v letu 1814.
