After the introduction about the origin of local arms and their contents in Slovenia in the second half of the 15th century, the author devoted himself to the treatment of the arms of Laško, which is as borough first mentioned in 1227. July 1598, in which there is the oldest picture of this arms. At the end the author treats several versions of this arms from the 16th century on and states, that the inner yellow coat of arms among the lilies originates because of the wrong understanding of damaskiring in the granted diplom (privilege).
