Ignored Letters of Prominent German Protestants in the Provincial Estates of Carniola Fonds – Part 1

Description
The article, divided into two parts, will present in more detail the original letters of five Lutheran theologians from 1568–1593, which are kept in the Provincial Estates of Carniola Fonds by the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia. The authors of these letters were committed Lutherans, originating from the German-speaking areas who, based on their places of work, are included in the project of recording the correspondence of theologians from the southwestern part of the Holy Roman Empire from the period between 1550 and 1620. The project has been running since 2017 within the framework of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences, but the letters discussed in the article cannot yet be found on the project website. In addition to the content of the letters and the questions raised in connection with the letters, the present article will also briefly present the lives and work of their writers. The first part will discuss three letters written in 1568, 1585, and 1589.

- V prispevku, razdeljenem v dva dela, bodo podrobneje predstavljena izvirna pisma petih luteranskih teologov iz let 1568–1593, ki jih v fondu Deželni stanovi za Kranjsko hrani Arhiv Republike Slovenije. Pri avtorjih teh pisem gre za angažirane luterane, po rodu z nemškega govornega območja, ki jih glede na kraje njihovega delovanja vključuje projekt evidentiranja korespondence teologov jugozahodnega dela Svetega rimskega cesarstva iz obdobja od leta 1550 do leta 1620. Projekt poteka od leta 2017 v okviru Heidelberške akademije znanosti, vendar pisem, ki jih obravnava prispevek, na spletnih straneh projekta še ne najdemo. Poleg vsebine pisem in vprašanj, ki se v zvezi s pismi postavljajo, bosta v pričujočem prispevku kratko prikazana tudi življenje in delo njihovih piscev. V prvem delu bo govor o treh pismih, nastalih v letih 1568, 1585 in 1589.
