Description

In this contribution, the authors present the loss of human life suffered by the city of Celje during and immediately after World War II. They focus on the deaths among the inhabitants of Celje as well as among people who were not residents of this city but nevertheless lost their lives there. The analysis of the casualties is based on the research database managed by the Institute for Contemporary History, titled Fatalities among the Population in the Territory of the Republic of Slovenia During and Immediately after World War II.
