of its constituents. Over the course of its seven decades of operation, the Archival Society of Slovenia has made a lasting impact on a multitude of domains. The organisation has made great strides in creating a public archival network, but its primary focus is on archival personnel education and training. This was also linked to the initial stages of the society's publishing endeavours, from which prominent periodical journals (Arhivi/Archives, Viri/ Sources for Slovenian History, convention papers) evolved. The article primarily focuses on the past two decades, the accomplishments and activities of society, and noteworthy events like professional training, seminars, and colloquia. It also discusses the society's role in enforcing the regular study programme of archival studies at all levels, meeting the needs of archives, and introducing digital innovations.
