Description

 T he Statutes of Koper of 1423 were divided into four parts (»books«). In total, they contain 244 statutory provi sions (»chapters«), which comprehensively regulated the essential aspects of public and private life in and around the city. The article focuses on some of the aspects of eve ryday life regulated by the statutes and, through the statute decrees, concretizes and completes the image of the former civitas Iustinopolis.

      • Koprski statuti iz 1423 so po vsebini razdeljeni v štiri dele (»knjige«). Skupaj vsebujejo 244 statutarnih določil (»poglavij«), ki so celovito urejala bistvene plati javnega in zasebnega življenja v mestu in njegovi okolici. Prispevek se osredotoča na nekatere vsebine vsakdanjega življenja, ki jih urejajo statuti, in skozi statutarne odloke konkretizira in dopolnjuje podobo nekdanje civitas Iustinopolis.
