Description
Epidemics of cholera in Europe Brst occurred in the 19th century. The first epidemic in the years 1830-1832, which captured the majority of the Old Continent, bjpassed Carniola. Despite the fact that in 1831 no one in Carniola fell ill with cholera, a lot was written and said about the new lethal disease. The contribution focuses on the Ljubljana physician Fran Viljem Lipič, his work and considerations on the threatening cholera epidemics

      • Epidemije kolere so se v Evropi prvič pojavile v 19. stoletju. Prva epidemija v letih 1830-1832, ki je zajela večino starega kontinenta, je Kranjsko zaobšla. Kljub temu, da leta 1831 na Kranjskem za kolero ni zbolel nihče, se je o tej novi smrtonosni bolezni veliko pisalo in govorilo. Prispevek se osredotoča na ljubljanskega zdravnika Frana Viljema Lipica in njegovo delo ter razmišljanja ob grozeči epidemiji kolere.
