Description
Based on the passages from Janez Vetrinjski’s Book of True Stories (Johannis abbatis Victoriensis Liber certarum historiarum) that refer to Kranjsko (Carniola) the author attempts an analysis of sources for this book and of the writing style of Janez Vetrinjski. Accepted is Schneider’s hypothesis that Vetrinjski knew the archives of the Aquileian patriarchs and that he might have been familiar with the archives of Philip von Spanheim.
