Description
In the article,the author focuses on the study of records management at communal people’s committees under the authority of the Historical Archives Celje from 1955 and 1965. The topic is interesting for archivists describing the archival materials in the joint database of Slovene Public Archives as well as processing administrative applications, where a good knowledge of the original arrangement of archival materials is required. To prepare the article, it was necessary to study the legislation from the period 1955 to 1964, archives (records registers, decisions and rules on records management, reviews of classification systems/archival codes) of individual communal people’s committees under the authority of the Historical Archives Celje and reports of records management in individual communes. Methods of analysis and description were used in the study of the topic
