Description

At the end of 1999 the Special Delegation of the Stability Pact for the South- Eastern Europe visited Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Macedonia as part of the preparations for the international conference on national minorities and interethnic relations. Its main findings are that good interethnic relations, adequate minority protection, re-establishing of the traditional plural ethnic Structure and non-acceptance of ethnic cleansing are essential for further democratization of these social settings.

      • Ob koncu leta 1999 je Posebna delegacija pakta stabilnosti za jugovzhodno Evropo obiskala Albanijo, Bosno in Hercegovino, Hrvaško in Makedonijo v okviru priprav na mednarodno konferenco o narodnih manjšinah in medetničnih odnosih. Njene glavne ugotovirve so, da so dobri medetnični odnosi, ustrezna zaščita manjšin, ponovna vzpostavitev tradicionalne pluralne etnične strukture in nesprejemanje rezultatov etničnega čiščenja bistveni za nadaljnjo demokrarizacijo teh družbenih okolij.
