Description
Slovenian women who decided to marry and have children prior to the Second World War did not have to choose a profession. Most of them became and remained housewives. Their work was hard and responsible, monotonous in a way, and certainly undervalued. Technical novelties introduced in Slovenian households made their work easier and less time-consuming, but the approaching Second World War imposed new burdens on them.
