Description
In the summer 1969, the Slovene satiric newspaper Pavliha published an anonymous poem »Od Griž pa do Žalca«. Author of the poem was poet Meta Rainer, a 65-year old retired teacher who, because of the poem, fought a legal battle with the Union of the Associations of Fighters of the National Liberation Movement of Slovenia of the Community Žalec and won. This paper presents a story of sociocritical poet of the socialist era and renaming of educational establishments after war heroes and removal of their names – i.e., the story of a battle waging between the camps of two fallen female partisans Nada Cilenšek on one side and Ivanka Uranjek on the other.
