Stojan Pribičevič, the son of a well-known Yugoslav politician Svetozar Pribičevič, an American journalist, contributed a lot to the advancement of truth about the National Liberation War and post-War Yugoslavia in the West. On the basis of photo-copies of documents from the Archives of Yugoslavia in Belgrade, which are preserved at the archives of the Institute for History of the Workers’ Movement in Ljubljana, the author presents some of Pribičević’s activities in connection with the Trieste question after the Second World War. Such are, for example, his cables to Louis Adamic, his reports to the newspaper corporation “Time”, as well as Pribičević’s views upon the Trieste question, in which he defends the Yugoslav positions.
