Description
The Yugoslav Social-Democratic Party was established in 1896 in accordance with the general trend of division of Austrian social democracy in national workers’ parties, as well as owing to the needs of independent solution of problems of Socialistic movement among the Slovenes and other South Slavic nations of the Habsburg monarchy. The author presents preparations for the foundation congress and problems, which were dealt with by the party, when it was established.
