Description
The development of the Communist Party of Slovenia between 1936—1937 is presented in this article. Its basic characteristics are endeavours to strengthen the illigel organizations and to deepen the forms of legal activity especially within the framework of the People’s Front movement. The need to establish an independent Communist Party of Slovenia as a composite part of CP of Yugoslavia was ascertained already in 1934, and this decision was carried out at the congress at Čebine, on April 17—18, 1937.
