The latifundia of Jablje (Habah) near Menges, the property of the Lichtenberg family, had at the beginning of the year 1919 254.8431 ha of land altogether, and so the property fell under the agrariah. reform (the owners of latifundias were allowed to keep 75 ha of fields and 200 ha of any kind of land). The author pays attention to the question of agrarian representatives (communities and local agriarian boards), complaints of the people interested in the reform, and states the list of ; four-year tenants. Forests belonging to latifundias represented a special passage in realization of the i agrarian reform. The forests of Jablje were not distributed, they only fell under the law of fuel and wood supply. Like at other properties, the agrarian reform at Jablje gradually lost its first intention, and so it was possible to sell agrarian land to any people interested in it already in the year 1925; in 1931 a law was issued about the abolishment of the agrarian reform. Individuals only obtained small parts of land, and what is more, they had to pay for it, and the whole process lasted up to the year 1937.
