Description
On the first folio of the 1501 land-register of Škofja Loka dominion there is a short Latin text which tells of tie expulsion of pagans from Carniola in the 11th century. The authors have analyzed the text upon which they suggest a conclusion, viz. that the internation of the writer of the above mentioned text was probbaly to present the role of both Freising and Brixen dioceses in the process of christianizing of Carniola and the resulting rights as well as the duration of the secular landed property in this country. For this reason the author probably invented the pagans.
