Description
The article discusses a very vivid development of the administrative territorial units as well as the lowest organs of the people’s government on the territory of the present-day Ribnica commune from he day of liberation until the 1974 Constitution, separately as to the following periods: 1) The period of the local people’s committees, 1945—1952 2) The beginnings of communal system, 1952—1955 3) The development of parish as a commune, 1955—1963 4) The development of the Ribnica commune, 1963—1974 The main emphasis lies on the description of the development of the administrative territorial units and their authorities (local people’s committees, communal people’s committees and the communal assembly.
