Following the outline of the situation in Ribnica and its vicinity at the end of the Middle Ages and the beginning of the 16th century is a clear description of the development of reformation on this area. After the beginings,, which were relatively late, the reformation reached its culmination in the eighties. The description of the expansion of reformation as well as its directions according to the social classes is followed by the recatholicizing pressure and the end of the reformation at the same time as elsewhere on Slovene territory.
