Description
In the article, the Khisl family is presented - from the 16th century to the year 1692 when the last representative of this family - Maria Eleonora - married. The author gives an outline of the ascent of the family that were in the second quarter of the 16th century still of a middle-class-mercantile character, but later because of merits of individual members of the family became noble. At the end of the eighties of the 16th century, the family gained a baronial title, and in the first quarter of the 17th century the rank of counts.
