Description
Undoubtedly very important as regards the historical analysis of the September demonstrations was a fairly common opinion in Croatia at thet time, namely, that in Slovenia the Croatian year 1903 wasbeing repeated. Lieutenant Mayer therefore disobeyed the orders of his superior commander and disregarded the order of the provincial government which supposedly wanted to frighten the demonstrators by using the arms as well as to reestablish peace and order in the town.
