The paper offers a clear survey of the most important influences of the Italian environment upon the organizational forms of production in all fields of economy in Slovenia ever since the beginning of the New era: in agriculture, handcraft (together with the early capitalist forms of nonagricultural production), mining, iron-works and trade.
