Description
The convent of the Poor Clares was the first convent of any female convcntual order that settled in Ljubljana, and at the same time the first female convent on the territory of the then Ljubljana diocesc. The majority of the article is intended to the presentation of the conventual life of the Ljubljana Poor Clares (on the basis of preserved conventual Constitutions), which is with researching the history of monasteries - because of lack of archival sourccs - increasingly difficult. The article also partly describes the construction of the convent and answers the question who the nuns that lived in the convent through the 125 years of its histary were.
