The paper consists of two chapters. The first one deals with vehicles; there is a differentiation between them according to the load that they can draw. With respect to this it is possible to classify them into those which are drawn by man himself and those which are pulled by draught livestock. Regarding the number of the wheels they are — according to their characteristics — presented as 1. wheelbarrow, 2. twowheeled vehicles, and 3. carriages — which are given the most attention. The second chapter is concerned with draught animals, chiefly with oxen and horses.
