Description
On the basis of the material from the Historical Record Office of Ljubljana, the article describes — in the first part — the organization, income, work, uniforms and equipment of the town police-guard, and — in the second — the transgressions which compelled the police of Ljubljana to intervene. Some transgressions were quite serious, c.g. fightings between the Slovenes and Germans; others, being caused by imprudence or negligence, even provoke laughter.
