Description
The contribution is complementary to the treatise on schools in Bohinj, being published in the Bohinj Miscellany in 1987. It shows the main features of the development of the primary schools at Gorje and Bohinjska Bela from their foundation in the 19th century to the period immediately after the liberation in 1945. Special attention is given to the teachers in both schools, matters concerning school buildings and conditions during the Second World War
