Description
On the basis of the archives in the Historical Record Office of Ljubljana (archive groups: the Town of Ljubljana, the Commune of Spodnja Šiška, the Town Electric Power-Station of Ljubljana, and, the District Court of Claims in Ljubljana — the register of co-operative societies), the contribution deals with the introduction of electricity to Šiška, a suburb of Ljubljana, which was organized through co-operatives, and with the activities of the Electric Co-operative for Spodnja and Zgornja Šiška in the period between the two Wars.
