On the basis of the reports, published in “Orjuna“ and the collection of association regulations, held in the Record Office of SR Slovenia, the article gives the insight in the foundation of the Organization of Yugoslav Nationalists (Orjuna) in Slovenia. From 1922, up to the middle of 1924, local organizations, named Orjuna were founded in 60 places, while in about 25 of Slovene localities a kind of commissionerships were established. Besides in Ljubljana itself, these organizations were founded at the Slovene-Italian border, in Notranjska, Gorenjska (especially at the Sava river and at Bled), in some bigger places in Zasavje, Posavje, and to a lesser degree in Dolenjska, Bela krajina and Prekmurje. A considerable number of Orjuna organizations is recorded in Styria (Štajerska); here the organizations named Orjuna are mentioned in relation to some places near Savinja, around Slovenska Bistrica and in some places between the Mura and the Drava.
