After 1945, the schooling had reached a considerable growth at Šenčur. The treatise deals with
individual phases of the its development, from the period directly after the Second World War,
when a number of organizational changes had taken place, through the efforts for more efficient instructional work and the improvement of teachers’ social and material status up to
1964, when the new school was built and reconstructed in 1975. In detail, the author describes
the everyday school life, pupils’ extracurricular activities and the connection ofthe school with
the environment.
