Description
According to the Trianon Peace Contract, Hungary lost great part of its national territory - 26 villages in Prekmurje. At the German attack on Yugoslavia in 1941, the Hungarian regent Horthy also instantly declared war and immediately occupied the northern parts ofits territory. With the Decree about establishment of the military direction on the occupied territory he determined its directional distribution under the leadership of the muncipal and district military commands. In the shortest time possible the military government should erase all the tracks, left in Prekmurje by 22 years of the Yugoslav state. This aim should be achieved mostly by education and propaganda, less by repression.
