Josip Žontar wrote an article with the above title, which was partly published Just before the war, in 1941, in "Tovarniški vestnik", the gazette of the Kranjska industrijska družba (The Carniolan Industrial Society) while the third part of the contribution remained because of the occupation in handwriting. In continuation the contribution is about the foundation of the court commercial director and the Carniolan consensus, about the reputable members of the Carniolan commercial consensus, about the complaint against Zois's monopoly in iron trade, about the attempt to export the scythes from Tržič to Russia andabout the struggle against the Italian and Swedish-Russian competition. The introductory chapter doesnot refer to the pre-history of the contribution only but also reveals with what difficulty the economic history paved its way.
