Description
Based on the census carried out on July 15, 1945, the article deals with the houses and population of the District Kočevje. In comparison to the 1931 census, the population had decreased by half in 1945 and 56% of the houses were destroyed or damaged. Among the places that suffered most were those which saw emigration of the German population of the Kočevje region in 1941/42.
