Description
The seigneury Turjak was in the absence of the Auerspergs under the administration of the castle keeper Hans Mordax. By analysing his account hook from the years 1514 - 1515, which brings numerous data on everyday life from the beginnig of the 16th century, the author described the functioning of the seigneury. He also presented the everyday conditions in Carniola of that time. The article describes thè material and spiritual culture of that time as well as food, money and measuring units.
