Description

The author described on the basis of archival material newspaper articles, and literature the activity of Karl von Tegettholf brother of admiral Wilhelm. Karl as well made a very successful military career and when retired had the rank of a field marshallieutenant; he fought in the wars 1848/49, 1859, 1866 and cooperated in the occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1878. In the years 1865/1866 Tegetthoff was also chief of the military intelligence service.

      • Avtor je na osnovi arhivskega gradiva in časopisnih člankov ter literature opisal delovanje Karla von Tegetthoffa, brata admirala Wilhelma. Tudi Karl je napravil zelo uspešno vojaško kariero in imel ob upokojitvi čin leldmaršallajtnanta, boril se je v vojnah 1848/49, 1859, 1866 in sodeloval pri zasedbi Bosne in Hercegovine 1878. V letih 1865-66 je bil tudi šel vojaške obveščevalne službe.
